Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Statement

Reconnect by Jessie Bri was founded on the traditional lands of the Sinixt and Ktunaxa peoples. I acknowledge, honour, and pay respect to the past, present, and emerging Elders of these lands, as well as to Indigenous communities near and far.

I am committed to the ongoing work required to create a more equitable and inclusive world. Reconnect serves and supports anyone who identifies as a woman, and I welcome women of all ages, backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and faiths. This includes anyone holding underrepresented identities — including but not limited to Black, Brown, Indigenous, and People of Colour; persons with disabilities; and those who identify as two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, non-binary, gender non-conforming, intersex, asexual, or pansexual.

It is my ongoing pledge to continue learning, unlearning, and implementing practices that deepen this commitment — to amplify marginalized voices, strengthen allyship, and ensure Reconnect remains a brave, inclusive, and equitable space for all who enter.

Social Justice Statement

Reconnect is committed to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 5.1: End discrimination against women and girls.

Through my work, I aim to help women and girls decondition from limiting cultural narratives and reclaim their inherent power and worth. This means creating spaces where they can reconnect to their voice, intuition, and agency — and embody their fullest expression with confidence and ease.

At Reconnect, social change begins within. Every woman who reconnects to herself helps create a ripple effect — shifting families, communities, and the world toward greater equity, compassion, and freedom.
